The tour offers individual tastings that are really the equivalent of a meal on its own and will be unlike any tasting tour you have ever done. People are often surprised at the quantity of food offered on the tour and some are not even able to finish by the time they get to the last stop.
You will also be able to enjoy unlimited local rum tastings at our Cayman Spirits stop! Can you imagine filling your own glass with as much rum as you like? There is nowhere else in the world you can experience this!

All food tastings will be prepared by well established local restaurants, famous family owned eateries and one-of-a-kind specialty artisan stores. Please visit our George Town & Camana Bay Food Tasting Tour page, for a better idea of what types of restaurants/eateries we will visit.
Please be sure to let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian, celiac disease, food allergies, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.
We offer tasty alternative options for vegetarian participants. However, please be sure to notify us of your dietary restrictions when you purchase your tickets.

Yes- advanced ticket purchase is required. Purchasing tickets at the start of our tour would not allow us enough time to work with our food tour partners to ensure food tastings are prepared for you.
Our tours typically sell out ahead of time and we encourage you to book well in advance in order to maximize your chances of successfully reserving the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer.
Tickets for our George Town Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour can only be purchased online through our website using Visa, AMEX, MasterCard or Discover from our ticketing company, or by calling 1-800-656-0713. Cash and walk up traffic is not accepted.
Tickets purchased are non-refundable. Under normal circumstances, tours cannot be canceled or rescheduled.
However, if one of our tours is canceled due to severe inclement weather (such as a hurricane) or some other unforeseen emergency, we will be glad to reschedule your tour/class time or refund your ticket purchase.
Yes- all guests must purchase a ticket whether they plan to partake in the food tastings or not.
Non-paying individuals will not be able to join the tour for any reason(s). The ticket fees help cover the costs of all the food tastings and also to pay for your tour guide(s) wages, who are offering valuable commentary on historical, architectural, cultural and restaurant information during our tours.
We understand that there are sometimes last minute changes made to a cruise ship schedule and on occasion, a ship might arrive at a different time/date than listed or in rare cases, bypass the port altogether due to weather, an onboard medical emergency, etc.
We also understand that these changes are out of your control.
In cases where we can reschedule you to join one of our tours on another tour day or at another time- we will. In cases in which, this is not possible, we’ll issue you a gift certificate (with no expiration date) for the full value of your tickets that you’ll be able to use any time in the future. In special cases and when neither of these options is feasible, we’ll assess the possibility of issuing a refund.
Yes, the tour Bus will return to the Cruise Ship Terminal at the end of the tour. Our tours are designed to ensure you have more than adequate time to return to the Cruise Ship terminal.
Our tours begin promptly at the scheduled starting time.
The first portion of our tour is a meet and greet introduction for about 10 minutes or so- this allows for any late comers. After that- the show must go on in order to ensure that we are able to arrive at all of our tasting locations on time.
If you are scheduled for a tour or and know you are running behind schedule, please call us at 345-916-0404 0r 345-926-0004 to let us know before the tour begins so that we can give you directions on where to meet us en route.
*Please note that refunds are not given for latecomers!
Yes, tours are offered year-round January through December, except on Sundays and Public Holidays (when our tasting locations are closed). Private Tours are available on Saturdays.
Our tours will continue rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather however, we will be able to go inside of all of the establishments on the tour. We also provide ponchos and/or umbrellas in case of sudden weather changes if you do not have your own umbrella. However, we advise you to check the weather conditions for your tour date and dress/prepare appropriately.
If severe weather (such as a hurricane or tropical storm) does prevent the tour from taking place, you will receive a full refund or a gift certificate to use on a date of your convenience.
Yes, Private Group Food Tours are available. To set up a Private Tour or learn more, please visit our Private Group Tours page and submit a Private Group Tour Request Form. A member of Food Tours of Cayman team will respond within 48 hours to your inquiry!
Child tickets are currently not available. The tour is recommended mainly for adults.
Our George Town & Camana Bay Food & Culture Tour lasts approximately 3 – 3 1/2 hours and is a full driving Tour. You will be transported to each location and the tour will run from George Town all the way to the western end of Seven Mile Beach where you will enjoy ocean front dining.
We do not include tour guide gratuities in the cost of our tours. If you enjoyed yourself, gratuities are greatly appreciated and accepted by your tour guide, although never mandatory. The standard gratuity for a tour guide in the service industry is 15%-20%.
We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, birthday parties, wedding parties, corporate groups, and more).
When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. If it looks like rain we can provide you with a plastic rain poncho or umbrella.
